Petal Pizzaz

I love Baja Breeze and thought that it would look cute with two types of brown - Close to Cocoa and Chocolate Chip. A little pop of Kiwi Kiss in the leaves and the flower button pull everything together, don't you think? This card is headed to California..for a friend in need!!

Goody Goody Baby!!

My friend is having a baby tomorrow (and I'm counting on her not checking my blog tonight...) and this is the card I made for her. I "sewed" the little ducks together with embroidery thread and added a pearl from the Pretties Kit for the "pull". I thought it turned out cute...what do you think?

Cute Scalloped Circle Treat Holder

My upline, the awesome Angie, gave me this little treat when we met to watch Twilight for my third time and her sixth time. Isn't it the cutest? I was thinking that this would be a totally easy way to make classroom treats, and if you wanted to make it even easier (instead of using die cuts), you could buy the premade scallop circles (in the envelope section of the catalog) and make them that way, too.

Love You Much Birds

I made this little note and envelope this morning while my husband and son played pirates...I had to stamp the image about ten times because I kept getting it crooked while laughing at them. I cut out the birds' bodies after stamping them on Designer Paper. Argh, Matey!!

Raspberry Tart Card Set

Here is a card and envelope set made using the new Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper and Rose Red. I've decided that this new paper is my favorite. I like it for Valentine's Day, scrapbooking girly functions (baby showers, etc), and even for card sets, like this one.

If you would like to buy the materials to make this set, I am selling kits to make 6 of these cards, including matching envelopes and a clear box to store/give them in. You'll get 2 cards each of 3 designs, and all will use the Raspberry Tart DSP. They will not come with stamped images, but you can substitue almost any image for the flower and any horizontal greeting for the "Thank You". Each kit is $12 plus shipping.

Super Cute Bag

Here is a little bag I designed using our NEW Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper. I found the little white metal "purse" at Hobby Lobby and thought it would be just so cute with some ribbon. I did add something not Stampin' Up!, though...the little pink bling. I just couldn't resist. What do you think??

Valentine's Day Candy Jar

Here is a cute little jar that I filled with Peanut M&Ms for one of my stamp club members. Can you guess who gets this? I found this jar at Hobby Lobby for $1.99 and it just screamed for a scallop circle on the top with a monogram. What do you all think?

The winner (and only poster!!) is Alexsmom! Congrats - please send me an email with your address and I'll ship your stamp set right to you. Now, feel free to add comments to the last post, everyone...unless you haven't read or seen Twilight...then you're probably just thinking I'm crazy. Have a great day!!

New Catalogs are here! Special Blog Candy too!

Hello Everyone! I'm just SO excited to tell you that the new catalogs are here. And I'll ship out everyone's orders tomorrow. It's not too late to order a catalog from me for $10 (includes priority mail shipping).

I was thrilled with the contents...the new products are literally AMAZING and I can't wait to share samples with you. I know you'll all have to get a Big Shot and some of our exclusive dies if you haven't already. I'm starting a Big Shot club with discounts, so email me if you're interested.

So here's a funny story...although I'm excited about the catalog...I LOVE the Twilight series and decided last night to go see the movie for a second time. I tried to cajole my upline, Angie, into coming with me but her hubby just got home and she had club to prepare for the next day. So I tried to bribe my neighbor, Maureen, into coming (including ticket, popcorn and 4 hours of freedom the next day, i.e. babysitting) but she didn't answer her phone. So I went BY MYSELF. Yup, I'm that lame. And for those that know me well, to go to a movie instead of looking through the new catalog is a big deal. I was up late and then had a meeting to go to this morning and didn't have time to prepare a sample to showcase today...that's where the blog candy comes in...for TWILIGHT FANS ONLY!!

Post a comment by noon tomorrow about who you prefer, Jacob or Edward and (most importantly) why (looking for good reasons here, people...). I'll draw for a winner and ship the "Best Yet" stamp set to them COMPLETELY FREE! Everyone is welcome to post, I'd love to hear your comments...oh, and let me know what you think of the 'ol blog, too.

Love Scrapbook Page

Here is our Stamp Club page for this month - "Love". I used our brand new designer series paper to make the page, and liked this cute layout with a place for 4 photos, all croppable from 4x6 prints. Let me know what you think!

Lovey Dovey

Here is a Valentine's Day card that we will be doing at our next club meeting, on January 21st. It is a Z-fold card, turned 90 degrees, so that the fold moves upward when opened. I embossed the heart from the new Level II Hostess Set and cut it out to pop it up on the front. I also tied the ribbon after placing the Close to Cocoa square on the flap, so that it went through the front embellishment.

Whoo Loves You?

What do you think about this little Owl guy from the "Owl Together Now" Stamp Set? I ended up making him pop using 3 different layers...here are the detailed directions:

1. Stamp Owl and branch on white CS (2.25" x 4") and color.
2. Stamp Owl two more times on scrap white CS and color in.
3. Cut out 1 Owl and use dimensionals to adhere him to top of owl base.
4. Punch out Owl eyes from second Owl and adhere them with dimensionals to layered owl. You'll need to cut the dimensionals to make this look neat.
5. Make sure to add Dazzling Diamonds using Two-Way Clue to the tips of the wings, feet, and leaves!

Colors used: Old Olive, Certainly Celery (leaves), Close to Cocoa & Creamy Caramel (branch and owl body), Rose (Glasses), More Mustard (Feet & Beak), Barely Banana (Eyes)

Goody Goody Gumdrops

Here is a card made with a new Level III Hostess set - Goody Goody Gumdrops. I just loved adding Dazzling Diamonds to the gumdrops to make them sparkle. And I also liked using Spring Colors...I was getting tired of red, brown, and green!!

A Little Somethin' Somethin'

I found this little jar at Michaels and couldn't help myself - I just knew that it would go well with the Somethin' Somethin' stamp from our NEW CATALOG hostess set - Level 2. I filled it with mini Twizzlers from Casey (thanks!) and tied a cute little ribbon on it, too. Isn't this precious?

Tall Valentine - Love You Too Much?

So here is a card that I made that isn't really my style...I found a tall card for winter in an old Papercrafts Birthday card mag and copied the layout, changing everything to Stampin' Up! materials. I made the white hearts by embossing on acetate and then painting the back with a white acrylic dyed with Pretty in Pink ink (with a dash of Real Red to make it a little darker). The card turned out to be a bit more frilly than I expected...so it's perfect for my husband Tony! :)

Four Square Hearts

I was playing with my new Heart to Heart punch and came up with this cute little circle heart...all you need to do is punch once with the Heart to Heart punch and then use your 3/4" circle punch to punch around the little heart. Not bad, eh? The cute accent on the envelope ties it all together. Have a Happy New Year - and GO TROJANS!!
