Heart Punch Candy Bar Wrapper

This is my favorite project with the bundle so far, though I did add Riding Hood Red Prints Paper to the wrapper. I made the little flower with the Heart to Heart Punch and here's how:

1. Cut a piece of pink printed paper to 5.75" x 5.5", fold and adhere around candy bar.
2. Cut a piece of red printed paper to 2.25" x 5.5", fold and adhere to pink paper.
3. Cut a piece of white taffeta to wrap around bar. You can either knot it prettily in the front or back or stick it down to the paper like I did.
4. Stamp friend (coloring in with marker) on a piece of white paper and use the Tab Punch to make the little tab. Tuck under red paper and adhere to pink paper.
5. Punch 5 "chubby" hearts from Pink Pirouette Paper.
6. Fold heart in half vertically.
7. Place them in a semi circle, overlapping each a bit and securing to the red paper and ribbon with mini glue dots.
8. Place a rhinestone brad in the center and you're done!!

Burst of Snow!

I made this card yesterday afternoon after making fudge. It reminds me of the colors that the Martha Stewart collection uses for its treat bags at Michaels this year. I really like them together. And I am drawn to white embossed images on craft-colored cardstock. Not sure why...I think that a white colored pencil also looks awesome on this type of cardstock, too. Anyone surprised that there were no jewels or glitter on this? I was!

Twiggy Tag Card

Here is a Mr. Twigster Tag Card that I made really fast for the Kansas City Church of Christ Ladies' Christmas Craft night last night. It was so nice to meet all of the wonderful ladies there...and sing "We Are Family!"...very different from our church, for sure!! For all of those with the Holiday Mini Catalog...yes, this looks a lot like the card in the Mini Catalog...what's a girl to do when she only has a few hours to prepare? Find something that Stampin' Up! did and change it up a bit - I highly reccommend it!!

Card Contest - It's up to YOU!

Okay, everyone...here are the top two cards in the contest...Tony and I could not decide...we liked them both so much for different reasons. The first is an awesome layout and a great insert for photos and the second has the awesome rhinestone accent for Rudolph's nose. So...it's up to YOU! Vote for your favorite NOW - place a comment on the photo with your vote. Monday at noon, I will count the votes and award the winner a $25 gift certificate. And yes, ladies...you can vote for yourself, but only once! Pick either A) photo card or B) Rudolph card.

Cute Ornament - Holiday Mini

This is an ornament I made from the kit in the Holiday Mini Catalog. I plan to make a whole bunch of these and decorate a mini tree that we'll put either in our entry way or our office. I used Dazzling Diamonds and Two-Way Glue on the edges, so they are very sparkly. And my favorite ribbon, naturally!!

Cute "I Wish" Tag

Here is a cute see-through tag I made using the "I Wish" kit, acetate, rub-ons and ribbon. Here are the detailed directions:

1. Cut 2 sheets of DSP to 3" x 4".
2. Snip corner off one sheet of paper.
3. Flip to other side and cut opposite corner. Trace this tag onto remaining piece of paper to get perfect corners.
4. Punch hole with Square Punch into bottom of tag.
5. Cut 2x2" transparancy sheet and center over hole, adhere between tag layers. 6. Add rub-on to window.
7. Punch two holes in top of tag and thread one end of ribbon through each. Knot in center and snip ends. You're done!
