Christmas Scrapbook Kit Page

It's a little early for Christmas...unless you are scrappin' 2008! Here is a scrapbook page that shows my mom and son making Christmas cookies. The whole time I was making this I thought, "Why did my mom wear a BASHFUL BLUE sweater!?!" Anyways, I don't like Christmas layouts unless they are red and green, so I stuck to my guns. I used our new Christmas Simply Scrappin' Kit. Just wait until I show you more of the beautiful cards you can make with this bad boy. You'll all want one, so go ahead and go to stampersally.stampinup.net and pick one up. Make sure to add that super cute red and white polka-dot ribbon, too!

August Club Projects

Here are the great club projects for August! I can't wait to see all of my wonderful club members on August 19th and also welcome some new folks joining us for the first time! The first project is a tin that I covered in Thouroughly Modern DSP and added a Circle Circus white embossed accent to. The second project is a super-sweet Thank You card using our embossing folder. The last project is a 12x12 scrapbook page that I also incorporated Thouroughly Modern DSP into, and used our Scallop Circles #2 Die with my Big Shot to create the title accent. Let me know ASAP if you are new and coming to club this month - remember, its only $15 per meeting or a $25 order. I can ship most things long distance, too.

Stamp Club - July Scrapbook Page

Isn't this scrapbook page cute for Back to School? We used the new Specialty Designer Series - "The Write Stuff". I also cut the title with our Big Shot die, Naturally Serif, and used Summer Sun as the background cardstock.

Christmas Present Page

I just LOVE the "I Wish" Simply Scrappin' Kit and made this cute present page using a little bit of the kit - Real Red 12x12 textured cardstock, some of the cute die-cut stickers, Patterned Paper, and Whisper White textured cardstock. I added Chocolate Chip 5/8" grossgrain ribbon to "tie" my page together (heehee). The measurements for the slits are as follows:

1. Starting 3/8" in from the left top corner, make a 5/8" slit, then make one 2" from that slit, then 1", then 2", alternating until you end up near the upper left corner.
2. Repeat this exact pattern on the bottom of the page, from left to right.
3. For the sides, start 1" below the bottom of the top left 5/8" slit and 3/8" in from the left of the page and cut a horizontal 5/8" slit, cut another one parallel to this 2" down, then 1", and repeating until you reach the bottom of the page.
4. Do this on both sides. Thread ribbon through, cutting 3 pieces for sides and 2 longer pieces for top section so that you can make a bow.

And don't forget the Christmas Card contest!

Darth Vader's "Life Saver"

Here is our Halloween scrapbook page, with Daddy, Mommy and Darth all ready for trick-or-treating. I used some Earth Elements buttons, black twine, Ghostly Greetings Designer Series Paper, and Basic Black 12x12 Cardstock as a background.

Let It Snow!

Here is the scrapbook page that we will be doing for our November club. Don't you love this Designer Paper from the Holiday Mini? I normally do straight lines, but have been challenged recently to be slightly "askew", so I'm doing my best with curves. The little white knots in the bottom left corner are so cute in person, and the glittery title makes the page! You would put one photo on the left hand side of the page and use the right hand side for journaling. The second page is a mirror image and has slightly different accents.

Snow Swirled Layout

This is my favorite stamp set from the new catalog - Snow Swirled. Don't you love the snow flakes! Wait until you see the new Christmas cards I'm going to make. I just got my new order in the mail...brown just rang the doorbell! (Feverishly opening box now....). Great new ideas are just hours away! Remember to sign up for stamp club if you are interested, and the Halloween treat boxes are almost gone - place your order before Friday so that they will arrive in time for Halloween!

Driver's Education

I used Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery Prints Designer Series Paper and Pacific Point accent circles to complete this page. This was our visit this summer to Legoland. David loved driving all of the different types of cars around.

Wild About David

I loved the layout in the catalog that featured the Wild About You stamp set, so I modified it for a little boy. And I did some dry embossing on the side using one of our Classy Brass templates. This is my David. Isn't he so handsome! Click here and then here to purchase the Wild About You stamp set!
