Cute Ornament - Holiday Mini

This is an ornament I made from the kit in the Holiday Mini Catalog. I plan to make a whole bunch of these and decorate a mini tree that we'll put either in our entry way or our office. I used Dazzling Diamonds and Two-Way Glue on the edges, so they are very sparkly. And my favorite ribbon, naturally!!

Happy Thanksgiving! A Cute Ornament for You!

I found an ornament made in the newest issue of Papercrafts Magazine, and decided to convert it to Stampin' Up! products and really like the results. I used Riding Hood Red Prints DSP, the Snow Swirled Stamp Set, Punches, and a round coaster. I also used a Christmas greeting from "Best Yet". What do you think?

See the Holiday Extravaganza sale information just below this posting. I also have a link on the top of my blog.

Ornament

I just loved the ornaments that Stampin' Up! made for their on-line advertising campaign and couldn't wait to make one myself! Here is my ornament (from Michaels) with a Rub-on attached and little strips of Riding Hood Red crinkled inside, with a Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon hangar. This was SO easy, I can't wait to make more!!

Make sure you enter the Christmas Card contest - details at the top of my blog!

Next Ornament

Here is my next ornament...I think I'm finally getting it right. Here are some tips for creating a beautiful stamped ornament:

* Cut out your cardstock for any layered chipboard pieces with your craft knife.
* Paint your chipboard the same color as your background paper.
* Punch one hole in the top center of your ornament, and slide both ends of your ribbon through it, then knot the bow. This is by far the cleanest look.
* Use a glue stick to adhere cardstock to chipboard. Though I personally do not like glue sticks, this is by far the best way to get complete adhesive coverage.

Another Ornament

This one is better, I think. I like the cool colors a lot. And the pearls, naturally!

Christmas Ornament #1

Here is a cute Christmas ornament I designed using the Ski Slope paper and Striped GG Ribbon. I'm going to make some more today!
