Stamp Club Projects

I'd love to be able to share ALL of my November Stamp Club projects with you today, but the sun hasn't been out all weekend! None of my pictures have come out well enough to share, save for the card photo above...you'll just have to come tonight to check out the two other super cute projects we will be doing. Oh, and I'll post them as soon as the sun makes its return.

David's Birthday Invitation

Here is David's birthday invite (with some edits). If this doesn't convince you to get My Digitial Studio...you must be crazy! Put this together in about 1 hour (still learning the software), ordered 25 copies and will be ready to pass out to his little friends by the end of this week. Awesome, eh? You can do this, too...just a) buy Digital Studio on stampersally.stampinup.net or b) join my team and get the Digital+ Starter Kit option for $189...great products and great benefits for being on my team. You won't find a better upline out there!

October Club Projects

Here are the October Club Projects that we did last week. Aren't they great?? Thanks to Loree for being a wonderful hostess. The Treat Boxes are only $3.95 for 5 - a great value. Also, we used the Cast-A-Spell Designer Series paper on the Halloween Scrapbook Page and cut it to make our own striped paper. The card we made featured the Delightful Decorations stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog and the fabulous ornament punch. Love that there was no cutting on this card!

Playing around with My Digital Studio

So I made this card in about ten minuets and am going to do 6x6 Holiday cards this year from My Digital Studio. I need new photos for sure, since we don't do a lot of glamour shots here, there were some pretty slim pickings...I think we'll head out to the backyard tomorrow to get some good shots of the family...oh, and if you want to purchase My Digital Studio now, go to stampersally.stampinup.net right away!

My Goals

Hello Everyone! I thought I'd share my goals with you for the rest of 2009...and a little note.

I'm so excited to welcome the newest member of my team, Laura! Our demonstrator meetings have truly been wonderful. I feel like we are all making great new stamping friends and really learning from each other. I feel great when I can reward my downline with presents I bring back from Convention, awards for performance, and make and take projects during meetings.

I also appreciate the time and energy they put in to preparing their shoebox swap cards and getting ready for presenting topics. Having a connected downline has always been important to me - sharing the love of stamping is a big motivator. We are even connecting with our long-distance members well, sharing shoebox swaps and make and takes (and presents!).

My goal for the balance of 2009 is to build my team even further - adding two people to my group to promote to Manager! Let me know if you are curious about the business opportunity or are interested in joining our group for fun as a hobby demo. Both are welcome and appreciated...drop me a line...I think joining our team will be a decision you will be proud to have made!

Elegant Thank You

Isn't this a super-easy but super-cute Thank You Note? I made it using our Elegant Notes. I changed one of our Convention ideas around a little bit and came up with this sweet version. Let me know what you think?

My Stamp Room

Here are some photos of my Stampin' Room. You can see from the photos that I have two entrances - one is a double door that opens into my son's playroom and the other is a single door that opens to the left of the stairs leading to the basement. I purchased the big desk in the center from Ballard Designs and found the other desk and lateral file / bookcase at Pottery Barn. I also got the sawhorse bookcase from Ballard Designs. The large hutch in the room used to be in our kitchen in Torrance, CA, but I found that we didn't need one here in Leawood, so I appropriated it for my crafting. Yeah! White storage cubes are from a local craft store. What do you think?

Cupcake Birthday Cards

Here is a photo of the cute Cupcake Birthday Cards / Thank-you cards that I made for my friend Tara's daughters. I love this stamp set and especially love the Chunky Glitter I used on the big red cherries!

Demo Meeting Projects

Here are the cute projects that I used for my Demo Meeting in August. They were the Christmas Projects featured at the Stampin' Up! Convention this year. All of my downline also got a free set of cute pens from the Convention and a Thoroughly Modern emery board to keep in their purse. There are even more goodies to come at our shoebox swap meeting next month! As always, my demo meetings are free! Tomorrow I'll show you my stamp room. And some cute Birthday Thank-you cards I made for my friend Tara and her little girls.

Christmas Wreath Kit

I absolutely LOVE this project. Better yet, it was SO easy! It literally took me just one and a half hours to put this together in front of the television today. Isn't it beautiful? We got the idea at our national Stampin' Up! convention in August and I couldn't wait to put one together. I'm selling the kit to make this beautiful wreath for just $20. You'll get all of the supplies to make the wreath that you need if you are a local customer, including the red hanging ribbon bow. Email me to reserve your kit at stampersally@yahoo.com. If you are in my downline, you may purchase the kit for just $15.

If you are a long-distance customer ordering over the internet, you get everything except for the foam wreath core, which you can pick up at another craft store. (The money for the core goes to shipping the rest of the materials). Everything is pre-cut and ready for you to assemble and includes a project instruction sheet with photos. I'm starting pre-orders now and will accept orders until the end of October. I'll ship kits weekly as orders are filled and placed. Click on the "Add to Cart" button below to purchase your kit now. Makes a great homemade Christmas gift!

Build-A-Bear Workshop

Isn't she just the cutest thing? If you would like to make this card, along with one other and have me demonstrate how to make two other projects at your own workshop, please email me now or call me to schedule your September or October workshops. Spots are filling quickly and I'd love to show you and your guests how to make lovely projects while you earn amazing hostess benefits and have a great time. I give out door prizes at your home workshops, too. Email me for booking incentives for September. Here are some more cute ideas!

Crazy Stampin' Fun!

Here is a picture from my Stamp Club meeting in August. Pictured are Julie Clapp, Maureen Bergeman, Krisi Harrison, Robin Sumner, Laura Thye, Kate Franko and Naomi Antoine. Not pictured are Amira Strang, Cammie Yates and Lorree Rodgers.

Twick or Tweet

Here is a cute little Halloween treat bag that I made loosely based on a treat bag in our Stampin' Success demonstrator magazine. Isn't the groom paper to die for in Halloween projects?!? Amira, I bet you're glad you bought some, eh? If you haven't guessed, this is the favor that will be inside the Spooky Jar for my class on Sunday, September 6th. I can still purchase you a kit if you'd like to do the class at a different time, or are a long-distance customer. See the post a few below for ordering information...

Christmas Scrapbook Kit Page

It's a little early for Christmas...unless you are scrappin' 2008! Here is a scrapbook page that shows my mom and son making Christmas cookies. The whole time I was making this I thought, "Why did my mom wear a BASHFUL BLUE sweater!?!" Anyways, I don't like Christmas layouts unless they are red and green, so I stuck to my guns. I used our new Christmas Simply Scrappin' Kit. Just wait until I show you more of the beautiful cards you can make with this bad boy. You'll all want one, so go ahead and go to stampersally.stampinup.net and pick one up. Make sure to add that super cute red and white polka-dot ribbon, too!

David's First Day

Here is David on his first day of school, today. Isn't he a cutie?

August Club Projects

Here are the great club projects for August! I can't wait to see all of my wonderful club members on August 19th and also welcome some new folks joining us for the first time! The first project is a tin that I covered in Thouroughly Modern DSP and added a Circle Circus white embossed accent to. The second project is a super-sweet Thank You card using our embossing folder. The last project is a 12x12 scrapbook page that I also incorporated Thouroughly Modern DSP into, and used our Scallop Circles #2 Die with my Big Shot to create the title accent. Let me know ASAP if you are new and coming to club this month - remember, its only $15 per meeting or a $25 order. I can ship most things long distance, too.

Build-A-Bear Dies - First Creation

Well, ALL of my Stampin' stuff came in the mail today and David just HAD to be the first one to make anything with my new Build-A-Bear dies. I'm not sure why I was initially hesitant with purchasing these - David had a BLAST making little bear puppets - we ended up sticking them on lollipop sticks, because I couldn't find any craft sticks around. (Yes, terrible mommy, eh?). Get ready for AWESOME projects, because I'll be stamping all weekend.

If you are interested in booking a workshop, let me know, because I'll be scheduling them soon - you can choose from Halloween, Christmas, and Build-A-Bear. And they will ALL be fabulous. We'll have the workshop in your home, you invite 6-10 guests, and I'll demonstrate two projects (and the hostess gets to keep them!). Then, everyone will get to make two projects themselves to take home. Email me ASAP at stampersally@yahoo.com if you are interested. My spots will fill quickly.

Circle Circus Trees

I thought of a cute way to use the Circle Circus stamp set - as the center of trees! I used both this stamp set and Trendy Trees to make this lovely card. The colors are Pink Passion, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, and Tempting Turquoise. What do you think? Order now on my website - stampersally.stampinup.net.

Fancy Flowers "Thanks" Bag

This little bag uses Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper and Rich Razzleberry paper. The handle is punched with our Word Window punch.

I leave for Convention in less than 12 hours! While I'm gone, my special is this - spend $30 or more on a Stampin' Up! purchase on my website and I'll send you my September Christmas Card class for FREE in the mail! Also, any new recruits that sign up during this time period will get August, September, and October in the mail for FREE!! Can't wait for you to join my exciting team. I support both hobby and business demos well.

Cupcake Card Swap

Here is a card that I am taking to the Convention on Wednesday for swapping. I made 40 of them - let me tell you, that's a heck of a lot of coloring and glittering. But it was worth it, don't you think? I used the More the Merrier stamp set - Level III Hostess from the current catalog, Melon Mambo paper and polka-dot ribbon and paired it with Green Galore. I miss that color!!

Stamp Club - July Scrapbook Page

Isn't this scrapbook page cute for Back to School? We used the new Specialty Designer Series - "The Write Stuff". I also cut the title with our Big Shot die, Naturally Serif, and used Summer Sun as the background cardstock.

Wednesday, July 29, 2009

Stamp Club Photo Cube

What do you all think of this photo cube? We made it for my Stamp Club in July using the Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper. I just love the Rich Razzelberry color. I can't wait to pair it with Old Olive and Chocolate Chip and Kraft...oooohhh! Anyone want to design something with that color scheme today?

Tuesday, July 28, 2009

Love My Love Bug!

Isn't this a super-cute card made with the Love Bug stamp set? I'm making 30 of these for my Convention swaps. Natalie has helped on them BIG TIME! Don't you just love that the little bugs fit inside the heart punch? I backed it in Chocolate Chip with the window cut-out from my Movers and Shapers Heart Window. I also used our scallop edge punch and 5/8" Chocolate Chip Grossgrain ribbon. And can you tell that I used the Polka Dot background from my Texture Plates? Love it!!

Remember, you only have until July 31st to take advantage of the $85 Mini Starter Kit - and $50 in FREE product from me- to join Stampin' Up! in my downline. See this post for details.

Greetings, Earthling!

Hello everyone! Sorry it's been awhile since I posted last. I've been busy preparing for Convention and making a million swap cards, with the help of my awesome Stamp Club (and Natalie!). Here is a card that I did not choose to make for a swap...something was missing...though I like his little glittery body. Any suggestions?
