Happy Thanksgiving! A Cute Ornament for You!

I found an ornament made in the newest issue of Papercrafts Magazine, and decided to convert it to Stampin' Up! products and really like the results. I used Riding Hood Red Prints DSP, the Snow Swirled Stamp Set, Punches, and a round coaster. I also used a Christmas greeting from "Best Yet". What do you think?

See the Holiday Extravaganza sale information just below this posting. I also have a link on the top of my blog.

Ski Slope - Bliss!

We have a little neighbor who just loves Bliss candy, so I designed this cute little holder to package 4 of them! I used the set that I got FREE from my upline to make the little sign on the front, and I can't get enough of the striped ribbon in our new In-Colors. Here are the directions for the holder:

1. Cut one sheet of chocolate chip, 3" x 7 3/4".
2. Score at 3", 3 3/8", 6 3/8", 6 3/4" and fold.
3. Attach 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" piece of Ski Slope DSP to front.
4. Attach a 3/4" x 2 3/4" piece of Ski Slope DSP to inside flap.
5. Cut and attach a 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" piece of coordinating colored card stock to inside.
6. Attach 4 Bliss candy inside with glue dots to this piece.
7. Tie ribbon around front of holder, decorate with stamped image and you're done!

Christmas Present Page

I just LOVE the "I Wish" Simply Scrappin' Kit and made this cute present page using a little bit of the kit - Real Red 12x12 textured cardstock, some of the cute die-cut stickers, Patterned Paper, and Whisper White textured cardstock. I added Chocolate Chip 5/8" grossgrain ribbon to "tie" my page together (heehee). The measurements for the slits are as follows:

1. Starting 3/8" in from the left top corner, make a 5/8" slit, then make one 2" from that slit, then 1", then 2", alternating until you end up near the upper left corner.
2. Repeat this exact pattern on the bottom of the page, from left to right.
3. For the sides, start 1" below the bottom of the top left 5/8" slit and 3/8" in from the left of the page and cut a horizontal 5/8" slit, cut another one parallel to this 2" down, then 1", and repeating until you reach the bottom of the page.
4. Do this on both sides. Thread ribbon through, cutting 3 pieces for sides and 2 longer pieces for top section so that you can make a bow.

And don't forget the Christmas Card contest!

I just loved the ornaments that Stampin' Up! made for their on-line advertising campaign and couldn't wait to make one myself! Here is my ornament (from Michaels) with a Rub-on attached and little strips of Riding Hood Red crinkled inside, with a Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon hangar. This was SO easy, I can't wait to make more!!

Cute Dot Card

I found this cute Dot card idea on my upline's blog (Angie), and I just loved how easy it was to make. I put the knot on with a mini glue dot, and punched the circles with Stampin' Up punches from Ski Slope Designer Series Paper. The greeting is from my favorite Level 1 Hostess set.
