Christmas Card Club

Hello Stampers! Per the request of my AWESOME Stamp Club ladies, I am starting a Christmas Card club class - and I have BLOG CANDY so keep reading. Each month, you will receive the supplies to make 5 of the same gorgeous Christmas card (including envelopes) for just $15. I'll put this club together for July, August, September, October, November and before the holiday season begins, you'll have 25 great cards to send to your family and friends. Our first meeting will be held on July 5th and will be held on the 1st Sunday of each month.

We'll have the club meeting at my house, but I haven't forgotten my long-distance gals! If you would like to participate remotely, you'll get the same supplies shipped to you and pay just $5 shipping. If you join for the entire long-distance program (5 months) at once, you pay the $75 for the class and just one month of shipping for $5 - I'll pay for the rest of the shipping charges! Local customers - just email me when you would like to sign up. Long-distance ladies - please click on a Paypal button below. If you would like 2 or more sets of the cards , simply add additional quantities to your order - shipping is tiered for multiple sets of cards. Remember to purchase the stamp set if you do not have it if you are a long-distance customer from my Stampin' Up! website.

All orders must be placed by the 15th of the previous month, so you have until June 15th to preorder the July kit! Photos of the first card will be posted by June 10th, each subsequent card will be posted at the beginning of the month prior.

Sweet Little Mother's Day Card

This card is so sweet - but it requires sewing, so that may scare some of you. But it wasn't hard - I promise. In order to sew the stem, just draw a stem pattern (or stamp yourself a stem in Versamark) and little leaves, then using your paper piercer to poke little holes every 1/8" or so. Then, take your paper sewing needle (finer is better) and sew with about 3 strands of embroidery thread. Knot off at the end (or tape) and you're done. To make the little pot, just cut a small 1" square and trim an edge on a slight slant, flip it over to copy the exact same slant on the other side and trim. Add a 1/4" x 1-1/4" brim to the pot and you're done. What do you think? I made this project for my up-up-up-line's newsletter, too.

Fleurette Box

Here is a pretty slider box that I made for my up-up-up-line's email newsletter. Isn't it cute? I combined the Pretties Kit, Fleurettes and a little scrap of Bella Rose Paper to make this delicate Pink Pirouette and Chocolate Chip gift box. Cute & Quick Card

Here is a card that I made during our Stamp / Scrapbook night last weekend. I thought it was really pretty. I used the Bashful Blue craft ink pad for the first time and love how it looks on our Whisper White paper, don't you? I also though the Styled Silver Hardware was so very pretty.

Big Shot Butterfly Card

Here is a simple card that I made with my AWESOME Stampin' Up! exclusive die and the Pocket Silhouetts stamp set. I used Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze and Pink Pirouette card stock. I double-layered the butterfly and bent him in half and added a dimensional to create a 3-D look.

If you missed it, we had a GREAT time at our Scrapbooking / Stamp Night last night. I gave each of the gals a cute little gift and we had good snacks, too. Thanks for the Shrimp Dip, Naomi...and the guac was GREAT, Maureen. I'm still eating the sour Lifesaver gummies...that Zack dipped into the guacamole and enjoyed for a time last night. Yuck!

Fifth Avenue Floral Card

Here is the fifth and final card that we made at our Spring Card Class - isn't it awesome? We used the Fifth Avenue Floral set, Urban Oasis paper, Vintage Brads, and Baja Breeze Striped Grossgrain Ribbon. I love them all!

This is the fourth card from my Spring Card Class. It features the "Bubble Wrap" technique to make the honeycomb pattern on the background.
